Introducing the
Minnesota Community Survey

Here are key facts about the state's newest civic data resource.

  • Online surveys are conducted every 4-8 weeks.

  • Surveys are in English and Spanish by default.

  • Survey respondents can be recruited for focus groups.

  • Every survey provides reliable results on:

    • Statewide, the Twin Cities and Greater Minnesota

    • Black, Latino and Asian adults (these groups are oversampled to allow for data disaggregation)

  • Enhanced respondent quality due to address-based recruitment.

  • We have detailed demographics on respondents, so you can focus your survey dollars on the questions that matter most.

Read our methods page for more.

Here's what we're doing to make high-quality survey research accessible to organizations of all sizes.

  • Our flat, all-inclusive rate for survey projects comes with:

    • Sampling and weighting, questionnaire development, survey design, data collection and more.

  • No extra fees or costs on survey projects.

  • Statistical software isn't needed to interpret your data! We deliver a spreadsheet of results on every question for key demographic groups.
